Are there active ways for children to do the spiritual exercises?
For younger children, say, “Shut your eyes a minute. Imagine there’s a piece of white paper in front of you and all the colors you need are beside it.
“Draw a big flower. Done? OK, now draw a happy face on it. That’s the Mahanta. Listen, did he tell you something special?”
Whatever spiritual exercise you create, be sure that it lets the child be an actor in it. The child must have the lead role in the theater of his spiritual exercise.
The ECK teachings, you see, help people on their own path home to God. So each person is the star in his own world.
