Divine Love and Self-Acceptance as a Parent

MAHANTA, I have struggled with negative self-talk. How can I stop these thoughts so I don’t have this trickle down to my son.

Love,

–Brianne Kleiss, USA

Dear Brianne,

So often we believe in giving divine love to others but not to ourselves. It’s part of the human condition to grapple with worthiness, a primary cause of self-diminishing thoughts. Work with the attitude of acceptance–of yourself and others. Forgive yourself as you do others. Nobody is perfect. All that life expects is that we learn from experience.

Develop a kind and compassionate voice in your thoughts. That voice can be your own. And here’s the MAHANTA’s voice:

Brianne, you are Soul, a light of God, worthy of love, life, wisdom, and the freedom to try new ways of being and living. You are always under the care and protection of the MAHANTA.

Rise above with the Inner Master’s help: Chant my spiritual name, Razash, and ask to be shown, in dreams or contemplation, your next step in learning to love yourself as a light of God.
