Ever-Present Protection

I had a very important dream about my two-year-old daughter. In it, she opened our front door and found her way to the sidewalk. Before I was able to get her back to safety, she stepped onto the road.

When I woke up, I told my wife. But I wasn’t too worried. We always kept the key up high so our daughter couldn’t reach it and open the door.

Later, my wife went to work. A few minutes after she left, I heard the front door open, and I assumed she had returned to get something she had forgotten.

When, a few seconds later, I did not hear my wife’s voice, I suddenly remembered the dream and rushed downstairs. My daughter had opened the door and was standing in the doorway, saying, “Mummy, door.”

What had happened?

We can shut the front door without using a key to lock it, and this still prevents entry without a key. Yet this time we forgot that it allows exit without a key.

This was what the dream tried to warn me about.

This was an amazing experience of the MAHANTA‘s ever-present protection, and I am forever grateful.
