Rekindled Spiritual Interest

A while ago, I was concerned because it was evident that our children’s interest in ECK events was dropping. My wife and I had tried several ways to engage their interest in ECK activities again, but they didn’t work.

Then, one day I saw a little calendar book of ECK quotes on my wife’s table. I flipped through it and liked what I read. I immediately got an inner nudge to start a family discussion class on the daily quotes. I discussed the idea with my wife, and she agreed. So, we started it immediately, rotating the leadership of the daily discussion among our family members, who are all current students in ECKANKAR.

It has been like bringing light into a dark room! Now we all look forward to our family discussions. Our children’s interest in ECKANKAR has come back and is even stronger. The quality of our discussions has continued to increase as well. They are insightful and very uplifting spiritually.

We later attended an ECK event together in our area, and we were all happy to be there. I am so grateful to the ECK for rekindling the fire of ECK in my family in this simple way.
